Wat houdt het Consumentenloket in?
Dit loket is een punt waar leden van Unkobon terecht kunnen met de vragen, problemen en klachten over de kwaliteit van bejegening, service en producten die zij als consument hebben ervaren bij de diverse overheidsdiensten, instanties en bedrijven op ons eiland.ON SUNDAY, MAY 5, THE CONSUMERS UNION, UNKOBON, OFFICIALLY OPENED ITS

What is the Consumers Desk?

It is a place where members of Unkobon can go with their questions, problems and complaints about the quality of treatment, service and products they have experienced from various government departments, agencies and businesses on our island.

Welk doel heeft Unkobon met het loket?
Met het loket streeft Unkobon twee belangrijke doelen na:
1. Luisteren naar de hulpvraag/klacht van de consument, uitleg en informatie geven, de weg wijzen om tot een oplossing te komen en contact onderhouden totdat er een bevredigende oplossing is gevonden.
2. Verzamelen en archiveren van de vragen en klachten zodat Unkobon inzicht krijgt in de hoeveelheid en soort hulpvragen en daarvan kan afleiden wanneer, waar en bij wie Unkobon als bond in actie moet komen.
Wanneer houdt Unkobon haar loket?
Om te beginnen zal het consumentenloket één keer per maand open zijn op de eerste zondag van de maand. Onze medewerkers zullen in twee wijken tegelijk zitten, namelijk Rincon en Playa. In Rincon zal het loket in Kas di Tia Sani naast de katholieke kerk gehouden worden en in Playa in het gebouw van de Scouting. Na elk loket zullen wij een evaluatie houden en eventueel de plaats/tijd/datum aanpassen.
Wie zijn de medewerkers van het loket?
Unkobon heeft een groep vrijwilligers gevormd, die onze taal Papiamentu, maar ook voldoende Nederlands beheersen om uitleg en informatie te kunnen geven. Bovendien zijn de personen betrouwbaar en integer, zodat de consumenten kunnen rekenen op een professionele en vertrouwelijke aanpak.
Wie kan een beroep doen op het loket?
In principe is het loket voor leden van Unkobon. Wie nog geen lid is, kan zich ter plaatse inschrijven. De kontributie is $ 10.- voor een heel jaar en als dat moeilijk op te brengen is, zullen wij samen naar een oplossing zoeken.
Hoe laat wordt het loket gehouden?
Op zondag 5 mei zal de officiële aftrap zijn, zowel in Rincon als in Playa. In Rincon zal het loket open zijn van 16.00-18.00 uur en in Playa van 17.00 -19.00 uur.

Op iedere eerste zondag van de maand zal het LOKET open zijn in Playa en Rincon van 16.00 uur tot 18.00 uur.

KOM ALLEN/UNKOBON IS ER OM U TE HELPEN!The Consumers Desk has two main objectives :

1 It records the requests for help, consumer complaints, provides information and explanation, points the way to find a solution and maintains contact until a satisfactory solution is found.

2 By collecting complaints, questions and problems Unkobon gains insight into the amount and type of requests for help so it can be more effective when it must act quickly.

To begin with, the Desk will be open once a month on the first Sunday of the month. Our co-workers will be in two districts at the same time, namely Rincon and Playa. In Rincon the Desk will be in Kas di Tia Sani next to the Catholic Church and in Playa in the Scouting building. After each session there will be an evaluation and if necessary the time and place will be adapted.

Who are our co-workers at the Desk?
Unkobon has formed a group of volunteers who speak Papiamentu, but are also proficient in Dutch so they will be able to give information and a full explanation. Moreover, these are people who are trustworthy and honest, so the consumer may expect a professional and confidential approach.

Who may seek help at the Desk?    

Basically the Desk is meant for members of the Unkobon. If you are not a member, you can fill in a form at the Desk. The entrance fee is $10.00 a year and if the amount is a problem, together we will  find a solution.

At what time is the Desk open?

The official opening was on May 5, in Rincon and in Playa simultaneously.  In Rincon the Desk will be open from 1600-1800 and in Playa from 1700-1900.
