Tussen 1 maart en 31 augustus 2013 zullen interviewers van het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) in het kader van het Budgetonderzoek (BO) op pad gaan om huishoudens te bezoeken op Saba, Sint-Eustatius en Bonaire.
Between March 1st and August 31st , 2013, interviewers from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) in the context of the Budget Survey (in Dutch: budgetonderzoek BO) will set off to visit households on Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire.

Het BO is een steekproefonderzoek onder huishoudens dat uitgevoerd wordt door het CBS. Het onderzoek heeft als doel de bestedingen van de huishoudens in kaart te brengen. Informatie uit het budgetonderzoek wordt o.a. gebruikt bij het berekenen van de inflatie.
Het budgetonderzoek wordt gehouden om de vijf jaar. In 2004/2005 is voor het laatst een budgetonderzoek uitgevoerd op Op Bonaire zullen 600 huishoudens bezocht worden, op Saba 315 en op Sint-Eustatius 450.
Om deze en andere belangrijke bestedingsgegevens in kaart te kunnen brengen, vraagt het CBS de medewerking van alle huishoudens die deel uitmaken van de steekproef. Uw huishouden vertegenwoordigt een groot aantal andere vergelijkbare huishoudens. Uw deelname is daarom extra belangrijk.Het CBS is wettelijk verplicht om alle verzamelde gegevens strikt vertrouwelijk te behandelen. Elke interviewer is in het bezit van een legitimatiebewijs van het CBS. Op verzoek van de bewoner moet de interviewer zich identificeren, zodat iedereen er zeker van kan zijn dat het interview door het CBS wordt uitgevoerd.
The budget survey is a sample survey of households conducted by the CBS. The research aims to map the spending of the households. Information from the budget survey is used, among others, when calculating the inflation.
The budget survey is held every five years on Bonaire. The last budget survey was held in 2004/2005. On Bonaire 600 households will be visited, on Saba 315 and St. Eustatius 450.
To be able to map this and other important spending data, the CBS asks the cooperation of all households included in the sample. Your household represents many other similar households. Your participation is therefore especially important. The CBS is legally obliged to handle all collected information in a strictly confidential way. Each interviewer will be in the possession of an identity card of the CBS. At the request of the occupant, the interviewer must identify himself/herself, so everyone can be sure that the interview is conducted by CBS.
